The Team
Our staff team is central to care at
Your Life Your Home

Investing heavily in continuing education, we provide regular programmes of training to ensure skills and knowledge are current and reflect the latest guidelines.
Many of our staff members have NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care or higher, while for those without we support them to work towards gaining qualifications.
Monthly all Staff Meetings and separate Team Leaders' Meetings give staff the opportunity to input into the running of Your Life Your Home and ensures the flow of communication is two-way.
We know that we have a low staff turnover, however during annual Staff Appraisals we were delighted to discover that over 60% of our staff have been with us for nearly 10-years or more. We're incredibly proud and honoured to have enjoyed staff loyalty for so many years and are very appreciative of the support of our incredible staff team. We recognise this loyalty in various ways.
360 degrees feedback
Our External Consultant from Opals Consultancy conducts staff observations, providing valuable feedback to staff. Annual individual Staff Appraisals are conducted by the Proprietor, when Staff can give and receive feedback in confidence, enabling identification of training needs, process amendments and other suggestions. Bi-monthly Supervisions are conducted by Team Leaders with Support Staff, while the Team Leaders' Supervisions are conducted by the External Consultant.
Separate information is available on our staff team at King Edward House Residential Care Home.
If you think you have the skills and attributes to join our dedicated staff team, please get in touch for an informal chat, we'd love to hear from you!
